La violencia escolar en perspectiva histórica. Buenos aires, 1969-2010

Abstract
(descriptive): for over a decade, school violence has occupied an important place in educational research. This article presents some of the main findings of a study that had the overall objective of analyzing the phenomenon of school violence from a historical perspective. This study examined three public high schools in Buenos Aires (Argentina). Documents available in the schools' archives from the period 1969-2010 were used as sources of information. The analysis concludes that school violence wasn't an important problem until the nineties. The association of school violence with a general deterioration of social relations was also observed.
