Risks associated with the use of technologies in adolescents, a systematic review
Main Article Content
Abstract
(analytical)
The main objective of this research is to know the risks associated with the use of technology among adolescents. A review of the existing literature was carried out, following the Prisma model, where aspects such as low self-esteem, psychosocial problems and exposure to content were identified, which can trigger family conflicts, learning difficulties and anxiety disorders. The results highlight the importance of promoting healthy and responsible use of technology among adolescents. Furthermore, it has been found that parental or teacher mediation acts as a protective factor. Likewise, the need to continue research is discussed, taking into account the constant technological evolution and its impact on youth. It is recommended to develop more specific and effective intervention strategies.
Keywords: Adolescents; social media; risks; technology.
