Abstract
This research involved a situational case study on homo-lesbo-phobic bullying in pre-university education
in Cuba based on the testimony of three people who studied in different educational institutions who were taken as a sample of maximum variation. A series of interviews was conducted that highlighted how these internal education spaces are conducive to harassment based on the presumption of a different sexual orientation. Teachers are not prepared to manage these episodes. The consequences for participants, both victims and others, are serious. This exploratory study is a first step towards further in-depth research on this problem.
